charivari

first, recommend to me:
1. a movie
2. a book
3. a musical artist, song, or album

then ask me three questions, no more, no less.
ask me anything you want.

then go to your journal, copy and paste this same post allowing your friends to ask you anything; say that you stole it from me.

(i stole this from pazette, tin and anne!)

more wedding updates:

invites

we finally finished our invites! and when i say "we", that means that i did all the work and rey approved the finished products. we'll start distributing the invites tomorrow. we should be able to distribute them in a week.

marriage license

rey finally got our license from my friend ellen. ellen's hubby was the one who secured it for us. when i was chatting with him a few days ago and he learned that rey hasn't given me our license yet, he said that he gave me an option to back out of the wedding by putting in a different name! the funniest thing was that when rey finally gave me our license, he said that there was a mistake - he thought that he was getting married to catherine zeta-jones so why did the license reflect someone else's name?!

production meeting with mandarin and balay kandila

kate of mandarin, ronald and tish of balay kandila and i had a meeting last friday to discuss the technical requirements of the set-up for our venues. the meeting went well and i'm really so excited to see how balay kandila will dress up the place!

i also got to discuss with kate the menu for the kids table (but my niece just requested for vanilla ice cream so i'll have to e-mail kate about this again) and the menu for our cocktails. rey and i still have to decide how we'll go about our open bar.

imported flowers

a few months back, rey's friend volunteered to give my bouquet as a gift. rey got to talk to her again yesterday and she's also volunteered to take charge of the 6 peruvian roses that we need for our centerpieces!

honeymoon

we finally got a booking at santiburi resort in koh samui! we already asked 2 travel agencies to help us but they weren't able to get us a booking for january 3 to 8. i decided to contact the resort directly. after 4 e-mails and 2 overseas calls, they finally gave us a room! we are so excited!

hey abie!

my recommendations:
1. a movie - night at the roxbury (super babaw but i was laughing my head off)
2. a book - the promise by danielle steele (promise, it's the only book of hers that i read over and over.)
3. a musical artist, song, or album - soundtrack of reality bites (it's a good mix of songs, and i love tempted by the fruit of another by squeeze)

my questions:
1. what's the first thing you'll do after you get married?
2. your most prized possession?
3. what's one nasty habit that you have?

hi, pazette.

i already watched the 2 versions of sabrina! i loved both films and i have them in the original VCD (di pa uso DVD noon.)

i'll go check out high fidelity and sliding doors!

for your questions -

1. first item on my christmas wish list - a giant plasma TV!

2. biggest item in my bag - my digital camera (i'm meeting relatives later tonight); smallest item - the key for my diary (i just realized that the contents of my bag are so boring!)

3. what pisses me off? inefficiency.

abie - couldn't log on to my own blogger account!

i'll have rey find me a copy of the night at the roxbury. i really love brainless stuff!

i already read the promise and i liked it, too. (by the way, i was packing my bobo books yesterday and i filled a whole travel box!)

as for reality bites, i'll go check out the soundtrack. rey and i have attempted (and failed) to finish the movie at least twice!

for your questions:

1. what's the first thing you'll do after you get married? - drink real champagne (cost me a little fortune but i think it's worth it.)

2. your most prized possession? - i would have answered rey but i just remembered that people are not property, so i'll have to go with his sidekick and representative, porkchop (my adorable chowchow.)

3. what's one nasty habit that you have? - i rub my forehead or hairline when i think. and since my job requires a lot of thinking, i always have a pink forehead.

1. the grinch - sobra akong natawa dito, but some people hated it...haha. dunno why! baka good mood lang ako nun :P
2. The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13 3/4
3. frank sinatra's romance album

----

1. rey's best and worst traits
2. decision or destiny?
3. your biggest frustration

abieco said...

hi, favel! cool! i haven't watched the grinched nor read the Secret Diary of Adrian Mole. i now know what i'll be doing when i go on leave starting the 15th! as for the Sinatra Album, as a fan of oldies, i'm sure that i'll love it!

now for the questions _

1. rey's best and worst traits - right now, his best and worst traits is that he's being so O-C about the wedding
2. decision or destiny? - decision!
3. your biggest frustration - when i've been wanting and waiting for something for so long and when i've finally got it, it's not worth the wait. {ex. when i was a kid, my mom didn't want me to eat so much chocnut. so i promised myself that when i have my own money, i'll buy a whole bag and eat everything in an hour. when i finally got to purchase a bag, i realized that i cannot appreciate chocnut if there's too much of it.)
